This collection represents a quick look at some of the sights in the Occitanie region of Southern France, including the Tarn and Pyrenees Orientales. This area is famous for Cathar castles, Bastitde or hilltop villages, priories and monasteries, vineyards, fields of sunflowers and more. The Pyrenees-Orientales is dominated by the peak of Mt Canigou, the sacred mountain of the Catalan's. Also included here is a panorama of Annecy. Click on each image for a larger version.
