LIGHTING - Spot lighting

All lighting has an affect on your mood, and spot lighting is no exception. It is arresting and has the effect of ‘stop, look at me now’. It can occur when the sun is almost horizontal to a subject (B, C, F), or if there is a break in an overcast or stormy sky where a ray of sun illuminates a subject (A, E). You will also see it when sun enters a narrow space like a doorway (D) and everything around it is dark (i, J). So it really has the effect of a spotlight or torch shining on your subject.
