ESP photo Tours, based in the medieval hill-top village of Cordes-sur-Ciel, offers personal 7 day tours for 10 people to the historic Tarn region
of southern France. Run by professional photographer Jon Davison and his wife Jude, together with Western
Australian guest photographer Kingsley Klau. This area was the centre of the 13th century 'Cathar heresies', and is also one of the first wine
growing regions of France. The tour cost covers your accommodation and all meals at the lovely chateau of La Borie Grande, a 10 min drive
from Cordes. Travel to the photographic sites and pick up from the airport is included. So no more cost to you, no need to hire a car either!
We will be visiting these historic places ; Albi, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Penne, Puycelci, Bruniquel, Najac, Monesties, Castlenau-de-Levis,
Les Cabannes, Belcastel and more. Within these locations we will find ruined castles, pigeonniers, vineyards, sunflower fields, farmscapes, churches and
abbeys, medieval fortified towns, villages and much more. The course is designed to help you gain that all important 'photographer's eye', plus free
sessions in Photoshop and Lightroom where you get to see just how important post production is now to the craft of photography.
Our courses are fun, informative and inspiring. Our April 2017 tour will have a special guest. Jon's daughter Tess is a fabulous chef, having trained and worked
at such prestigious establishments as La Manoir aux Quatre Saisons, Noma (Copenhagen and Sydney popup), Mugaritz and Rockpool.
She was the personal chef to the Australian ambassador in Paris, to name but some. Tess will be creating all the menus at La Borie for our tour!
