DRAWING IN PHOTOSHOP

This is a fun technique using layers, it is a bit tricky to get used to, but it’s quite logical and rewarding once you see your work start to take shape. It does not matter if you can’t draw, as your work will be unique to you, but in following these tutorials, you will learn about perspective, proportion etc. I will explain how to draw an object from life, how to trace over a photo and colourise it, plus how to create a scene from scratch.
It is not using the program to ‘paint’ in the traditional way with brushes, but to fill layers that you create giving the illusion of an artwork. The end result is that they do look somewhat different with a distinctly digital feel to them. It is just an alternative form of expression.
