Welcome to Eye in the Sky, the home of New Zealander Jon Davison's illustrative location photography. Jon has been a photographer for all of his working life, and has covered much of the globe for mainstream travel publishing commissions and commercial assignments. But his specialist field is shooting aircraft in the air from helicopters or fixed wing aircraft. This elevated workplace also allows him to also shoot maritime and static ground based subjects from the air. This website offers an insight into the many shoots that he has undertaken. He accepts photographic, digital and publishing commissions worldwide. He and his wife live in the medieval hilltop village of Cordes-sur-Ciel, in the South of France.
