Another aspect of my work as an aviation photographer is an appreciation of the air I fly in.  Although you can't photograph this but cloudscapes and mist being formed by the air and the land, are the next best thing. So whether in the air flying through them, or shooting them from the ground, clouds have a majesty all their own. Although most cloudscapes invariably include the land with which they interact, I have as much as possible tried to use compositions where the clouds or mist themselves are more dominant.
