About Us
Eye in the Sky Productions (ESP) is dedicated to providing superior imagery and promotional material to the worldwide aviation industry, and incorporates the stunning photography of lensman Jon Davison.
To further our capability and compliment Jon’s style, ESP recently acquired the skills of photographer Alexis Bachofen. Graphic designer Douglas Lemos, and marketing guru Robin Olson.
Although shooting aircraft is our passion, we are equally at home portraying the earth, or shooting beneath the sea. Good imagery sells, it’s that simple.
Jon is one of the worlds leading aviation photographers, specializing in air-to-air imagery, his work has appeared in countless books and magazines.
He has produced 18 of his own books, covering such diverse subjects as submarines, travel and airshows.
Prior to creating Eye in the Sky twelve years ago, Jon spent 20 years as a travel photographer and illustrated well over 100 travel guides for publishers such as Berlitz, Fodors and Lonely Planet.
Alexis, first studied as a photographer but found himself working in the film and television industry, in-between London Los Angeles and then Perth, for twelve years.
Having worked within management with such notable companies as Disney, Propaganda and Hallmark Entertainment, he assembled excellent administration skills.
In addition his journalistic and award winning professional photographic talents are a fantastic asset to Eye in the Sky.
Robin Olson, originally from California worked for over 20 years internationally in both the Music and Film Industries for companies such as PolyGram, Paramount Pictures, Sony/Columbia/Tri-Star.
In 2005 he switched to aviation and later met Jon Davison as they were both working in different capacities at Aviator Magazine, located in Western Australia.
Doug is a qualified web designer and graphic designer, specializing in Flash Action Script and Multimedia.
Originally from Brazil, has been working in advertisement industry for nine years and also is Bachalelor of Industrial Design and Certified Screen Animator.
